Fees for Adult Passports
• First adult passport:   
$ 100 (which includes a separate surcharge of $20) or the NIS equivalent at the Consular Fee Exchange rate established by the Embassy.  
• Adult passport by mail renewal fee:
$ 75 (which includes a separate surcharge of $20) or the NIS cash or the NIS equivalent at the Consular Fee Exchange rate established by the Embassy.   

Fees for Passports for children (under 16 years old):  $ 85 (which includes a separate surcharge of $20) or the NIS equivalent at the Consular Fee Exchange rate established by the Embassy. 

Consular Report of Birth:  $65

Forms of Payment for Passports in Person

Cash: either US Dollars or NIS equivalent at the prevailing Consular Fee exchange rate established by the Embassy, which varies according to the market.      

Credit card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, and NOVUS/Discover.  We do not accept debit cards.


PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Forms of Payment for Passports by Mail ONLY

PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH THROUGH THE MAIL. 

Cashier’s or Bank check in US Dollars Only:  A certified bank check (check bankai) for $75.00 per application written in US Dollars.   The bank check MUST be made payable to “U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv" (Shagrirut Amerikait Tel Aviv).

  1. -         Effective immediately, we will no longer accept checks or money orders in NIS. 
  2. -         All payment instruments must be machine-readable.  They must have a coded line running along the bottom of the check). 

 

Failure to send the proper payment will delay the issuance of your new passport.
