To contact American Citizen Services please call  03-519-7475 Mon-Thu, between 2:00PM and 4:00PM.  You may also email ACS at AMCTelAviv@state.gov

If you have an urgent matter outside of office hours please call 03-519-7575 and you will be transferred to the Embassy duty officer. You may also send us an e-mail marked “emergency” to amctelaviv@state.gov

Unfortunately, we’ll not be able to answer inquiries regarding visas. Please e-mail the visa section at nivtelaviv@state.gov.

In the event of an emergency, contact the Police at 100 or Fire at 102, as appropriate.

The U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv’s American Citizens Services Unit is located at 71 HaYarkon Street, Tel Aviv 63903, Israel.

Services for passports (form DS-11), notary services, and Consular Reports of Birth are via appointment only.  To schedule an appointment, please go to http://israel.usembassy.gov/consular/acs/appointments.html and follow the instructions.  The appointment system is automated and everyone must make his/her own appointments online.

Emergencies:  Genuine emergency cases do not require an appointment, although the applicant must bring documentation to prove the emergency.  Office hours for these types of cases are 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Please contact us by e-mail amctelaviv@state.gov prior to your arrival. In order to ensure a timely response, please put the word EMERGENCY in the subject line of your E-mail inquiry.

Services for passport renewals for adults using form DS-82 only, for extra visa pages, and to report the death of an American citizen are available on a walk-in or mail-in basis.  We are open for these walk-in services Mondays to Thursdays from 8am to 11am, only.

We are closed Saturdays, Sundays, March 1, April 5 and May 3, 2012, and Israeli and American public holidays.
