The seminar is recognized by the Israel Ministry of Education, which awards credits to participants for in-service training.

  • E-teacher Scholarship Program

  • Participation of Israeli English teachers at U.S. TESOL conferences

The office of English Language Programs based in Amman sponsors the participation of English teachers at the annual TESOL conference. This unique networking opportunity offers Israeli teachers from all sectors of Israeli society the chance to learn first-hand cutting edge methodologies and practices and become part of the global community of English language professionals.

  • Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators and scholars

Study of the United States Institutes are designed to strengthen curricula and improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions overseas. Foreign university faculty, secondary educators, and other scholars spend approximately four weeks at host universities in the United States where they take part in lectures, seminar discussions, and site visits. They learn about American educational philosophies, explore new teaching methods and pursue related research interests. Participants spend the remaining two weeks on a study tour, which complements the academic program and includes visits to sites of interest in another geographic region of the country.
