| Distinguished American Speaker On Tuesday, July 8, the Counselor for Public Affairs, Mr. Andrew Koss, hosted a Distinguished American Speaker program with Professor Anthony Cordesman of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Professsor Cordesman shared his expertise on Iraq, Iran and the Gulf. A national security and strategic affairs expert, Professor Cordesman is the author of a wide range of reports on U.S. security policy, energy policy, and Middle East policy. Cordesman formerly served as national security assistant to Senator John McCain of the Senate Armed Services Committee, as director of intelligence assessment in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and as civilian assistant to the deputy secretary of defense.
